what kind of problems are you having exactly? It's about as straightforward as it can be.

    I am not sure why...

when I input new value for engine and mem + same clock setting... then select "set clocks", 1 sec later screen blank out and freeze....

    AMDGPUClockTool_v0.9.26.0

Is it something I must do?

I've seen reports of this problem before, and from what I can recall, the answer is to run Furmark in the background when using the GPU Tool. I can't recall if you need to run Furmark in a window, or if you need to run it full-screen then alt-tab into the GPU Tool. I'm sure the answer is somewhere around here if you want to go digging.

I'm not sure of the real reason, but I think it was something to do with the second card being idle. If that card is idle then the GPU Tool has some sort of problem accessing it, causing the hang.

thanks for the reply. I can oc in single card, but nor CF. somehow I did discover the high temp while running furmark. it is 72F room temp...

what would be the safe range at full load for 5870CF? my load temp is 104C

ps, FurMark (Multi-GPU)....errr run on background

I was having the same problem not being able to OC both cards and getting the OC to stick and not keep resetting all the time. I couldnt find a good solution to the issue so I just left me cardsstock settings for right now.

I found the bit of info I was thinking of.

If this isn't causing both of your GPUs to be used, open up the Catalyst Control Center and make sure that Crossfire is enabled. You can use something like GPU-Z to check if Crossfire is properly working or not.

I'm afraid I don't have a computer to test this on (yet... 1 month til I have the $$$ to order it) so I can't help a lot more :(.
