How upgradeable will the M17x be 1-2 years from now?

I understand that these graphics cards in the M17x draw power. What is the likelihood that the 600 generation of Nvidia cards will be compatible with the M17x? I know that if the voltages are different, that a modified or updated BIOS may be required. Are these voltages for graphics cards pretty universal? Like if Nvidia released a GT600m (I'm just guessing) would it use the same voltage as the 580m and be compatible with the M17x?

How future-proof is the M17x? Is it going to be something where you can't upgrade it a year from now because all the new cards/chipsets are incompatible? or is it reasonably upgradeable?

We will know shortly. There's a new A09 bios. As soon as it officially comes out, we can see if there's support for the next gen nvidia cards. I suspect that it will be plug and play

And technically, next gen Intel CPU's will also be compatible with the h67 chipset. BUT, dell has to release a compatible bios
