Ive been so lazy to get sc2 but will get it soon enough.. How well will an r2 play sc2 on 1920x1200 all settings max? i dont mind turning some settings down to get decent frames. I haven't oc'd the cpu yet I dont know how but I will if it helps.

It will play SC2 fine. Ultra may run into some issues, and the first game you play each time you log on may lag for a second at the beginning, but that is more than enough to handle SC2. Also if you mainly focus on ladder, many people play on lower settings for less input delay.

5870's in SLI are supposed to be better than the 460m which I had before. It ran SC2 fine and had an average of 50 fps in ladder games on ultra.

It will play perfect at extreme settings with newly released patches. You'll run at 60FPS with vsync enabled.

Suggest you play at low though if your a serious player. Your graphics won't look so nice when that FPS dips at the most critical moment when you need to split Marines against a 200/200 Zergling/Bling ball.

With 11.6CCC, 920/940XM & 5870CF you should never dip at all at extreme settings!!

The 5870M CF is more than capable of handling SC2.

ccc usually means the Ati catalyst control center. it's the AMD equivalent of nvidia control panel, but it's a bit easier to use.

    Here it is.
