    Hybrid SSD in M17x

    On the dell website.. At one place they say the M17x come with 2x 500gb raid 0 ssd drive which i find hard to beleave according to the price an ssd is. Then i see on the same site.. Hybrid ssd..

    What are the hd that come with it? Or.. Wth is an hybrid ssd vs an regular 7200rpm one ?

    its the seagate momentus xt hybrid 7200 rpm drive

    Its a regular HDD but they added 4 gigs of nand memory to cache often read data

    They are far superior to regular 7200rpm drives, but they aren't as fast as real SSD's
