    Hybrid graphics always off

    Having graphic problems again. Almost every time I turn my computer on, BIOS shows Hybrid Graphics as disabled. Is this simply a bad CMOS battery or something worse? Oh yeah, system time is always wrong too, seems like that points to bad CMOS.

    Yep, replace the CMOS battery. If the system time is always resetting, that is a good indication of the problem source. I'll have to cross my fingers, have not had to replace the CMOS batt in my 17x yet. Received it back in May/June of last year.
