    Hey, everyone, will the hyper x 1866 plug n play ram work in my r4 at 1866 speeds? All older posts have no definite answer and just want to be sure. Thanks

    Don't see why it wouldn't, since it worked on the R3. Since you're going there might want to consider the 2133 mhz sticks for a few bucks more.

    I think there is a way to flash 1600mhz ram up to 1866mhz speeds? widezu and geo were the ones that played with that stuff. Don't remember how they did it. :(

    As far as I know they only natively support up to 1600Mhz, although you can find a way to get the sticks to run at those clocks... or IIRC you could downclock them to tighten up the timings :|

    where do u find 2133 sticks? couldnt find any vendors that carried them.

    Amazon carries them. 1866 RAM refuses to work in my R4 though.
