    Hi,

I use ANSYS simualtion software as well as CAD software which do not work well with hyperthreading (nor setting of affinity).

I was very surprised to see the my Alienware 17 has overclocking features but no Hyperthreading toggle. Am I going insane or is such a basic switch really missing from the highest end gaming laptop in the world?

Perhaps I need an unlocked BIOS or this feature can be unlocked?

    Please help!

    Thanks :)

Unfortunately that's a feature that is locked in the BIOS, you would need indeed an unlocked one.
