    Hyperx pnp not running at full speed

    I just installed my pnp hyperx 1600. however cpuz reports that my dram frequency is only at 797.5 mhz instead of maximum 800mhz. is this normal? anyone here seeing this as well in their hyperx pnp?

    it's normal, because of your CPU BCLK is set to 99.8
    F2 > in bios go to performance option
    and set it to 100.8 or higher your RAM also get small OC along with the CPU.

    ^^ Exactly. The reported DRAM Frequency below 800 (for your 1600Mhz HyperX) is a collateral effect of the slightly underclocked bus speed. Your memory is fine.

    Same problem here as well i set the ram speed to 1600 in the bios worked fine after that.all ready had it set to 100.8 in the bios

    Thanks guys! I completely forgot that i defaulted my bclk back to default last time i made some troubleshooting.lol. Plus rep+ lucifer and revelation :)
