I know your total was more than enough but tell me this why 8gb ram and why windows ultimate but no crossfire 5870. Regardless congrats on the build it will be a beast and good job on getting the warranty so stress free ownership. Read up on the board and all the tips to help work out all the bugs and then you will really enjoy the system

Its got the CF 5870, I just forgot to add it on my list here lol.
This laptop is for way more then playing my games on thats only half the reason I got it.
I need to be able to multitask with this puppy. I mean really multitask. -
Congratulations, you got a nice configuration, enjoy it
-
I will thank you.
-
Congratulations on your new lappy. It's a beast for sure.
-
Why don't you just wait for a month maybe Alienware will pair with GTX480 as well..
thats why Alienware having promotion right now to clear CF5870.. -
-
Weird, crossfire 5870 should look like this:
320-8988 CrossfireX 1GB GDDR5 ATI Radeon Mobility HD 5870 -
but i expect more something about a 6 serie card from amd don't forget dell has a deal with amd since last year -
spradhan01 Notebook Virtuoso
I am definitely with Nvidia.
Can't wait to get the Nvidia DX11 and if possible Alienware 120Hz LCD. -
Same, my first nVidia card, the 9600GT was great. These 5870m Crossfires don't really stick out much. I'd much rather get SLI 480m :/ I wonder if the pm55 MB will support SLI 480s tho?
-
Yea.. Im not a Nvidia fans boy here..
But what i know, Nvidia driver is better than ATI..
so i would also prefer GTX480 but what I dont like is, Nvidia had no idea on arrange the power consumption of their card.. this is just speechless -
