Are you sure you backed it up properly? You can attempt to get it shipped out for data recovery, not going to be cheap.

That's weird.. all my data aren't gone, of course those documents, pictures, videos.

Well i found all of them at " C:/ > Users > and then your User name.."
And when i fresh install and back up my old data, i created a new User name.

I was shocked at the first time.. because it says my Backup completed.. but i can't see my data anywhere..
But i'm thinking of Users data, and when i looked at my old user name, Voila!, all my data was there.. :)

If it genuinally has deleted them there is a good chance you can recover it using a recovery program such as Power Data Recovery. Just dont use or save any data on the machine - definitely do not recover the data onto the machine until you have got the data back.

I hate how Alienware charges money to get "premium backup services"... I mean you drop big bucks on a laptop like this you don't expect to be nickel and dimed like that.

I've found that AlienRespawn is only really useful for factory resetting your system.

Look on the bright side, I was getting my laptop replaced anyway, so no need to transfer the data :p
