Seems exactly the same as the R3?

Any changes other than new parts that you have found?

well, this is my first Alienware so everything is new to me :)

i'm curious. I was expecting this comes with a nice leather-covered manual binder but I didn't get any. Did you get one by any chance?

Thanks for sharing the detailed pictures and I enjoyed reading your comments :)
It looks pretty much identical to the R3.

No leather bound manual for me either. I think Dell has a comment box somewhere for suggestions though ;)

Just ran 3dmark 11 and the score was P5747. Does this seem normal or within the expected range?
(updated the second link with the 3dmark 11 result)

The R4 has the vents added for extra cooling purposes, especially if using it on a cooling pad. Other than this, Dell has added a bit more metal to the heatsink for the GPU. Other than those cooling implementations, there is pretty much no chassis difference.

got this vent on my R3 - no subwoofer (like the MX18), It's directly over part of the GPU cooling block (bit they painted black so it does not show through.

On your windows performance index why does your gpu only score a 7.2? I have heard that it should score 7.9? The gtx 675m scores a 7.5, just curious were your drivers installed?
