Never tried it as it's not meant to work with XP, you may have issues to find the drivers and you may need to get them from each manufacturers site. Haven't seen anyone doing it so I really don't have any links to guides on this.

I recommand you to first trying to download the correct F6 sata driver from intel website.

Just run the installation from the CD (Be sure to have the XP with SP3).

When prompting, hit F6 and select your F6 sata driver that you've downloaded and copied to an usb key.

Let he install finish then, do a full windows update, and check what's drivers are missing, and try to download the missing ones one by one.

BTW, i don't really recommand you to install XP as it doen't really support your hardwares, but it's up to you, if it's just for a legacy application compatibility, i think it'd be better to install Windows 7 or Windows 8 PRO.

For windows 7, use this link : Install and use Windows XP Mode in Windows 7

For Windows 8 PRO : Install the hyper-v featrues and create a Windows XP virtual machines

Windows 7 would suit you better. Its going to be a pain to get that up and running perfectly.

I 2nd this thinking, it's just not worth the hassle. And you can run most apps on Windows 7.
