    Hello,

I love my laptop and it has been all over the world with me. I am interested in upgrading the graphics card though. Currently I have an ATI Mobility Radeon 5870, with a second empty slot (I think). Can anyone recommend the best card for this laptop? I am not much of a hardware guy, so I am not sure what to look for. Thanks.

I'm assuming you have the M17x R2? This system supports SLI or Crossfire, correct? You'll want to see this thread: http://forum.notebookreview.com/ali...rex-ultimate-installation-tweaking-guide.html Dual 7970M's would be the best option for ultimate performance. However, a single 7970M would suffice. It should be able to handle any game on Ultra.

The above link is to an advertisement on eBay. You should be able to get that 7970M for about $350 - $380.

That video card was the highest recommended one, we have seen some success stories with the 6970/7970. The 7970 will provide the highest performance you can get from it.
