In control panel, I tried getting into the IDT Control Panel, but it says it cannot find the .startup file. What does this mean and how do I get into IDT?

In that situation, I would uninstall then reinstall. Hit the Windows button and search for 'IDT'. It should find your executable.

Looking at the programs folder, maybe this is the file you need. After downloading it,change the extension from .txt to .startup & place it in "Program files/IDT/OEM/".Hope that helps.
