    IasTorV.sys BSOD. M17x-R2

    Okay, was just looking around the internet and BAM BSOD. i was like okay okay. i can check it out no problem. Boot into safe mode BAM BSOD. Try last known config BAM BSOD. Start normally BAM BSOD i tried the whole. f2-exit-f8. Tried all the different recovery options. NONE WORK. not even sfc /scannow works. NOTHING WORKS GARRRRRR. cries* i really need some help, i dont want to go through the whole system re install again. i have honestly tried everything i can think of. From what ive read the file has to have something to do with registry but nothing i do works.
    Specs:
    i7-920XM
    8GB(2x4) 1333MHz Memory
    500GB HDD RAID 0 Array. (250GBx2)
    Crossfire ATI 5870M

    Any help or ideas would be insanely appreciated.

    Although I dont know how to rectify it, the Iastorv.sys is a driver within Intel Matrix Storage Manager for you HDD array - thats what a quick search brought up for me anyway....

    I know that this driver is outdated now by Dell downloads - its now Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver (Intel RST on Dell)....

    Maybe uninstalling the Matrix Storage manager and installing the Intel RST would help out with this....but im not sure so dont quote me on it! - maybe someone with more experience can comment or you could call support to see what they suggest?

    Sorry cant be of more help but Iastorv is to do with your storage on HDD...or it looks like that afaik.
