I had to reinstall the OS on my Alienware m17x whilst in Germany upon my medical leave from Afghanistan and when I did I lost my Bluetooth somehow, I'm running windows 7 64-bit but I cannot locate anything to do with my Bluetooth and do not know how to get it back. Is there anything I can do because I'm not very literate with computers I really only use my laptop to play games and use the internet. I've searched and searched and can't find anything relative to my issue and I'm becoming rather impatient any help at all would make me feel less stressed, am I completely screwed if so I can live with it.

Your device manager should complain about a unknown device or bluetooth. Goto Dell's website grab the driver you need and install it.

Make sure wireless is turned on. I just realized my bluetooth is not showing up either, and then I proceeded to reinstall my wireless+bluetooth drivers and it complained that my wireless is off, so you may want to check that.

To be able to turn it off and on, you will need the OSD. It's on DELL.com, drivers... Applications.
