Hows it going everyone, did not want you guys to think I was only talking to you to get advice on the build. :) My R2 is in production, and I'm counting the mins until it arrives. Went with 920xm, crossfirex 5870's, 6GB ram and the 500GB sata HD. Plan on putting in a SSD at some point in time, although this one should work fine for now. Reborn, 650, and Lozz, how goes the battle? Anything new on the sli configuration Lozz? I look forward to being lead in the right direction to get the max preformance out of this machine. ;)

Hey, I installed my dead GPU (which makes it so the system won't boot) and have shipped my system. Currently en route home. Traveling anywhere out here is such a PITA. Closed routes (IEDs), plane delays, flight cancellations :rolleyes:Just doing the waiting thing. Then once I get home its more waiting for the systems (M17x/M11x) then waiting for Dell to fix both systems :p Can't wait to hear your impressions on the system. Glad you got it ordered. I'm sure you can find any answer your looking for here. Also definitely create a signature with your system specs so that if you ask a question, someone will have a quick reference as to what your working with ;)

I had an external monitor running as an extended desktop, and it was overclocked at 930/1200/1.15v and I was running furmark. The temps never went over 80*C and it just shut down. I had to pull the GPU, from the motherboard in order to run just one GPU. Then had to move the slave GPU to the master slot.

so u fried your primary gpu... i myself am running 900/1100 @1.15V now for primary gpu, and 900/1100 @ 1.10V for slave FULL TIME. dont know if i need to calm down a little on the MHz. dont wanna get my gpu fried too.

btw, it's amazing how high you clocked your GDDR5 and how it can sustain 1200MHz without crashing. i guess raising the voltage when editing bios raises both gpu and memory voltage.

I'm in the Air Force stationed in Montana maintaining our nuclear deterrent. This is nothing compared to all of the dangers you're exposed to over there. Thanks for what you do man. And, of course, God speed getting your laptop back to 100%!

Took me less then 2 weeks to get mine and now Newegg has the same config for cheaper without tax so I called Dell complained about it and they refunded me the difference I paid in Tax $150 credit towards my Dell Preferred account. I already had the return slip printed and ready to go so they knew I meant business :)

Yeah will have to wait for Nvidia to jump back up top again... These 2 companies change who is on top every couple years.. But actually since AMD acquired ATI they have held onto the top spot I believe...
