    Hi guys,

Noticed my alienware which has 8192 ram is reporting slightly less Ram in various programs. 3D Mark 06 shows it as 8139 and so does resource monitor. Dxdiag shows 8192 though. Any ideas as I thought windows 7 ultimate 64 bit should be able to address all memory. Where is the missing 43 mb? Anyone else have the same?

    Thanks
    Wayne

It's just how programs interpret memory size, nothing to be alarmed about. It's one of those things that just...is...

Cheers mate. I think I tend to over analyse the laptop. Time to stop worrying and constantly benchmarking, need to try and enjoy the using machine!

Yup, I don't think I have ran benchmarks except when posting for the 485M for some people and my Vertex 3 bench...
