Ok so I'm a nub at laptops but I swapped my memory and have several questions.

When I went into settings for memory I saw options for 1800 and 2100. Is there faster memory available?

Do I set the frequency to 1600 AND set XMP profile setting to 2 (or is it 1) ??

My memory I removed was from china and the only numbers on it that can resemble frequency is 10600. Isn't it supposed to be 1333 or is that number probably something else? I took a pic I'll put up.

Overall the swap took 5 minutes. The Kingston hyper x is gorgeous . I was thinking maybe I'll cut out the bottom and put a piece of clear plastic like a window buy then again noone ever sees the bottom lol. Haven't used the lappy yet but am hoping it will be slightly noticeable as I keep several IE tabs open , wow minimized while I watch movies all at the same time.

Special thanks to Joebearchuck (sorry if thats mispelled) and his Youtube video showing how its done. Made it very very easy after watching that.

Confusing thing is Joe responded on youtube comment to use profile 2, and in the thread below kunekedin says use profile 1 for cas7. so which is it 1 or 2?
