Installed the latest 285.79 BETA on my m17x-R3 with 3D enabled. Finished the installation without modded inf. Seems fine, but i got myself pissed with the Enable 3D Vision button doing nothing. Also, nVidia control panel shows no options for enabling stereo 3D.

    Any help appreciated.
    Thanks!

Have you uninstalled and cleaned previous drivers before installing these?

You kind of had to do that before installing the new drivers.

No you don't anymore. Not with the newer drivers since 260.xx I assume you have the 460m? Just run through the installation again, this time coose the Advanced Option and check Clean install. Report back :)

^^ that doesn't remove everything, a bunch of files and keys are left behind.
    This is not ATi.
-Uninstall PhysX via Control Panel, preferably in Safe Mode.
-Uninstall nVIDIA display drivers and reboot when prompted
-choose Safe Mode One more time and run CCleaner(2 times just to make sure) to clean obsolete keys.
-reboot and install the new drivers choosing clean install in Advanced mode.

Do this every time you change display driver version, will rule out a possible cause of issues.

That's strange, every time I update my drivers, after the drivers perform the clean, I restart into safe mode and scan with driver sweeper. Nothing left behind  maybe because I don't have to use a modded inf?
