After I launched a game my screen started putting up a show until it went black and eventually white spread from down to top, getting brighter as easier to see be the second, sort of like slowly turning up the gamma in a game.

Now I can't boot without getting a blue screen. I get some red lines on the startup bios screen and some grey symbol pattern on the next screen. After that the screen is normal and tries to launch windows. Then BS. The BS tells me it had problems with the atikmpag.sys file. Looking online I see that reinstalling the CCC software could help, but it's not possible in safe mode. I can't launch in low rez mode either.

I figured out how to reinstall the AMD drivers. I can boot to normal mode if I either deactivate or uninstall the driver from the device manager. I have tried several possible solutions like reinstalling and Driver Sweeper. The problem still remain, but at least I can run the computer in normal mode now. I might try to reformate the hard drive.

I would try a different video card.

Given that you mention you are getting anomalies during the startup screens I would point the finger at your video card rather than the drivers.

I just tried to install the latest AMD drivers from Dell's website and ran into the very same problem. During driver installation got a BSOD relating to this file.
