I'm trying to update my drivers from the old dell drivers to either the 12.8 or 12.9. I keep running from problem to problem with installing it. When I run the verification tool I get "amd catalyst mobility cannot be downloaded due to incompatible hardware/software."

When I download the whole driver package from a website such as guru3d.com, the installation would complete but I would receive a yellow indication saying something went wrong and rebooting to windows with No driver installed and with catalyst control giving me an error "cli.implementation cannot load"

Can someone please give me some drivers or some insight that work?

Have you disabled iGPU in the BIOS. You need to disable the integrated graphics on your R3 if you want to update the ATI drivers to the latest release since it doesn't play well with switchable graphics.

hey radji, great input +1rep :) I really want to know if that works, so if you can, tsuekasa, post back with results.

You can also try a simple clean installation and check if that works, uninstall both graphics cards drivers (Integrated and discrete) and update them both. Here's an article that might be helpful.

    Good luck :)
