When I turn my M17x R4 on it starts with the Dedicated 7970m. When I use FN + F7 to turn on switchable graphics the computer restarts as it is suppose to do. But when I restart my computer or turn it off, the next time I start it up, I'm using the dedicated card.

What can I do to make it start up with Switchable graphics all the time?

I would imagine there is some sort of setting in the BIOS or Alienware control center which allows you to default to the intergrated graphics on boot.

Would you happen to know where in the BIOS or Alienware Control Center I would find it?

Look for the hybrid graphics option in the BIOS? If you disable hybrid graphics but leave the intergrated graphics enabled, you MAYBE can force the system to use the intergrated graphics on boot. But then you might lose functionality with your discrete graphics card...so if you disable the hybrid graphics, then boot up, see if it boots with integrated graphics, then Fn-F7 and see if it sucessfully reboots into discrete graphics mode. That's about the best solution I can think up...but it's all speculation of course.
