    Hey there

I have found an interesting issues whilst using google chrome on my M17X R4. For some reason Google chrome does not load any pages at all, when running on my 7970m. I orginally thought this could be malware, however it works perfecty on the intergrated graphics, has anyone had an experience with this?

It has been working fine up untill now.

Could be whatever version of Catalyst Control Center your running is conflicting with Chrome in some way. I've never heard of hardware directly preventing software from running. It's usually the other way around.

Yeah, hence why I am so confused. I have tired malware scanning. I am currently running 13.3, I might completely uninstall it and download 13.4. Thing is , it was working fine till yesterday, and I haven't touched CCC at all!

What about Chrome? Did it do some sort of a silent update?

I seen to have fixed by system restoring, after Catalyst control center went AWOL and completely messed up when I tired to update to 13.4.

Chrome seems to be working now, however no when I click on CCC it doesn't open. Last time this happened I made all my files hidden and then unhidden in the Appdata folder, which is about the time chrome stopped working, so maybe that was the cause?

God only knows at this point. The only known fix may be to totally remove all AMD software and drivers and reinstall the last version of CCC that was working on your system.

That's weird, perhaps you should try reinstalling the CCC.
