Long story short, the NV drivers trashed my 675m and dell replaced it last week. I thought I'd leave it all at standard for a couple of weeks to get some base numbers, and testing with driver 314.22 , the last good working one I had used before.
First thing was I was not seeing the P1 power throttle (405mhz) in any games that used to cause this. Hmm. Then I was kicking back in HL2, which the card destroys at 120FPS consistent. Well, after about 5 mins P1 hit and the frame rate stayed good. I have adaptive power set so it looks like this feature is working as designed. Then I noticed the voltage. On my last card P1 dropped to 0.80V requiring a vbios fix to match the voltages. This one is set to the same voltage as P0 - 0.87v. So, no need for a vbios now, just use NvidiaInspector to bump P1 if needed![]()
Even overclocking did not cause the power throttle. I'll post the .rom file if anyone is interested, be nice to know if I just got lucky or if the vbios is different - 70.24.43.00.0D (P1314-0005)![]()

Thanks man, that is what I'm seeing but I am certain that the level 2 voltage (P1) has been increased as the first problem I hit back in the day with the 675 was that the voltage dropped to 0.80 @ P1, so it would artifact if I attempted to force it to match P0. And the strange fact that it has not power throttled at all
Interesting new 675m change
