Hi, a few weeks ago I got my self a cheap 580m to replace my 6870m, the main reason for doing this is for better driver support in Linux and has been working with no problems in windows with switchable graphics enabled all this time. There seems to be a bug with hybrid graphics on the M17Xr3 BIOS that stops powermizer form going over level 1. Just putting this in for a bit of background and to see if someone can help, as this is the most ideal solution but I don't think there is going to be a fix.

OK the only fix i can find for the above problem is to switch to PEG, this is not ideal but I am willing to do it, the only problem I am facing now is that the screen doesn't display anything when I switch to PEG, it posts fine and if i hook up an external display I can see every thing after the GRUB menu and the OS works grand. I cant find an answer to my problem, PEG worked just fine with my old 6870m.

    Any help is appreciated.
