On my old laptop the 6990m showed as a 6900 series card in both device manager, ccc, and gpuz that laptop is dead and I got a new one today as a replacment.
On this one the shaders and clock show as a 6990m but ccc, device, gpuz show it as a 6970.
What card do i have?
This unit is refurbished well marked as one looks brand new

It's a 6990M, looks like the drivers are a bit messed up
Just re-install the latest CCC.

bro...you're running driver 8.8?? That's the problem. Like Geo said, its a 6990m, you can tell because you have 1120 spu's and speeds of 715/900 stock
For reference, i'm using 8.97...8.8 is ancient. -
Please post me a how to, because when I installed the new drivers on my laptop before it killed my intel graphics.
