    Is it just me... or did they increase the price on the 6990M?

    Yesterday I was configuring the M17x on the US Dell site, and the 6990M showed up as being $50 more expensive than the 6970M. I'm configuring it again, and the 6990M is now $100 more expensive than the 6970M.

    Or did they just decrease the 6970M by $50; I can't tell.

    decreased the 6970 by 50. its sad, i bought a 6970 just 3 weeks ago! :(

    Ah I see. I thought Dell was just like: "Hey look at how many people are buying the 6990M; let's increase the price by $50!"

    When in reality, Dell's probably just balancing out demand since I bet a lot of people are canceling their 6970M orders to get the 6990M.

    yeah and here in australia...the warranty's gone up by 200AUD (i assume Dell is gonna have everyone pay for warranty on the users of 580 and the 6990)

    Alienware in australia is like the most expensive alienware in the world, $1000 more expensive than Alienware USA
