I recently updated to the new A8 bios and I've been losing fps from it. In League of Legends, I went from 150 - 200+ fps to barely 100 dropping into the tens. I'm wondering if its safe to downgrade bios for now?

I would try some others stuff before you resort to this....I honestly don't know if it is safe or not. Nvidia released new drivers yesterday I would try those first. Are you experiencing FPS loses in any other games or just LoL? Riot has a thread going in their service status forum

FPS Drop Investigation - League of Legends Community

So the FPS issue is a widespread issue and you could be affected by that, it might be worth to hold on as Riot may issue a fix ( There was a small patch this morning ) . Honestly unless your dropping to unplayable FPS then I would hold off.

I can tell you I have not noticed a significant enough drop to see it but I lock my FPS with Vsync because there is no point pulling 100+ FPS in LoL IMO.

Yes it is safe but most likely will not fix your problem. As mog has said unless you have the 120hz screen why do you care about that much fps lol.

Update drivers before downgrading, I always recommend a clean driver installation if the current driver is presenting issues, the article below explains how, and as MogRules said, Nvidia released drivers yesterday, try those.

I have also noticed the FPS drop too . I have dual 260 GTX in my laptop and out of nowhere the game can become very unplayable . Try the game with the new patch or as suggested try a driver re-install . Sometimes a Driver reinstall can do the trick ,

I have an R1 but I noticed a huge FPS drop over the last number of days in League of Legends . I'm playing it now and the patch seems to have fixed the problem .

Oh I thought you were referring to the bios update which some of the thread was composed of.
