If Dell makes 3 visits to your house (to fix your system) you're qualified for a replacement? The Tech came to my house the first time to replace my LCD, Video Cards and Ram, the video cards were defective so he ordered everything again and came again to replace all of them, problems still persisted so i sent the sytem into dell, then my hard drive got corrupted and the Tech came again to replace the harddrive. Am I qualified for a replacement? Or maybe an M18x?

you would get a m17x r3 not a m18. and thats only if parts are not available to repair the issue.

If you have SLI now then I would say they would have to replace it with there current SLI system - the m18x. When pushing for a replacement in your case I would accept nothing less.

You may want to to some research on this link..
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/ali...placement-systems-warranty-repair-issues.html
If you get approved for a replacement system it must be same or better spec's.
So if they have a same spec system you could get an R1 and yes it could be refurb. Nothing wrong with that if it runs good and has a warranty, it was what you purchased. Now in real life most times Corp will build you a new system. If you follow the advice in the thread you will see how most people arrived to a solution to their problem. ;) Good luck.
