    Hi Guys,

HWinfo 64 reports that my 7970M is running at a 2.5Gbps PCie speed under full load in games. Is this correct? I thought it should be 8.0Gbps. Could someone with a 7970M test this or verify if this is correct? Also GPU-Z shows under Bus Interface: PCI-E 3.0 x16 @ x16 3.0. It should be ok right? Its just once my 7970M was running at a 8.0Gbps bus speed according to HWinfo64 and now I haven't seen it at all today so I am a bit worried.

Monitoring programs don't always get it right, the performance difference would be quite evident if it was running at 1x.

Gpu-z has an embedded utility that will let you see if the pci-e channel is working at the rated speed.
