Just did a fresh Windows install after putting in an SSD and more RAM, all drivers installed, buttons working, except I don't see my Bluetooth (if I even have one).

Is it supposed to have Bluetooth?

It should, but the Killer N-1103 itself will not be what allows for the Bluetooth option.
Alienware has some other device on the laptop that handles the Bluetooth.

Hmm, guess I gotta try again.

    Ah, gotcha.

    EDIT:
I'm having problems getting my Bluetooth installed, when I run the install program it tells me to use my wireless switch to turn it on, but since my wireless switch controls my Killer-N card, turning it on and off doesn't do anything for the installation.

    Any advice?

I called up HIDevolution (the place I ordered my laptop from) and they said that my build didn't have Bluetooth included w/it.

Not sure what to make of that, I mean, there's no yellow missing hardware icon in the Device Manager and I don't really use Bluetooth devices at all.

I called them up last week, I pointed that out to them too, that it says "Bluetooth 4.0 Included" in the order/list/details invoice, but I've tried various ways, workarounds and methods to no avail.

I also can't see any indication that any Bluetooth hardware is present anywhere in my device listings/manager.

The lady I spoke to said that the module is supposed to be under the touchpad and that I would have to dis-assemble pretty much the entire laptop including the display to get at it just to find out.

She was also willing to send out the module if I wanted.

    I have an M17x R4 with the 7970M.

No having Bluetooth doesn't really bother me, would've just liked to have known sooner that I didn't have it instead of pulling my hair out trying to install drivers for something I didn't have lol

no the killer 1103 has no bluetooth on the chip, in the m17xR4 you will have a separate module which is located under the palmrest next to the msata port.

if you order a R4 with the 2230 intel card you will get a wifi+bluetooth in one card.
so when you add a 1103 later (like me) you will either loose bluetooth or need to add one like a dell 375 module.

when you buy it from dell straigt away you will have a separate BT module extra next to the killer 1103.
