Is there an external backup battery that will run a M17x R4?

Looking for an external brick that will power my R4 when I'm on the plane and run out of battery and playing games/watching movies.

I'm unsure if any of the ones I've found will supply enough power at a time or last very long.

I'm not sure how long 33600 mAh will last, but it's the biggest one I found: Amazon.com: Ultra Capacity High Quality 33600mAh Portable Charger External Battery Pack Power Bank Charger For Laptops and Notebooks - Compatible with Dell HP Sony IBM Lenovo Samsung Toshiba Acer Compaq Fujitsu Gateway Lition Asus: Cell Phones & Acce

And that only gives up to 120 watts?

At that low wattage the machine will probably only charge while off.

You'll be better off to buy a second battery and just swapping them.

Trust me, I've thought of a second battery. Really don't want that though. I hate running out of battery. Anyone know of one that would work?

Ok, so. The 240w charger that comes with the upgraded video card M17x R4 pulls 12.3a at 19.5v.

    The battery is 11.1v.

So that means the charger should be outputting at 19v.

The best I've found so far is an output at 4.5-4.75a from these battery packs.

That should keep me going quite a lot longer unless I'm maxing it out constantly.

Still trying to find a higher output model.

2nd battery is the better option. You can get it by sending an e-mail to [email protected]

4.75 amps should power most everything. That's as much as the power supply for 650M based machines, the maximum they draw when plugged into a wall. (i7, 650M). That's not an M17x, but that means it'll power most everything except for active gaming
