So I was just wondering if anyone here knew if there was anyway to return my m17x after the 22 day return thing. It has only been about 35 days but I really do not want the laptop anymore, it isn't as great as I thought, some of my games even freeze on medium graphic setting and for how much I paid I expected better. So if there is any way can someone share it with me please, I would really like to get rid of this and just get a cheaper gaming laptop.

Talk to Dell and see what they say. I would think they may work with you on the days. They should know about these problems because it seems a ton of people are having them.

Ok so think I will get a full refund or will they take 10% off what I originally paid. I have everything it came with, including the original package btw.

It really won't hurt to call and ask. Their normal policy is 15% return fee. But if the product is defective then you should get a full refund. When you talk to them, just complain a lot about the problems and they should feel like they need to give you a full refund. (Hopefully)

Sometimes being calm and reasonable while still explaining the issues goes further than making the person on the other end mad lol.

My guy offered to send me to tech support for a replacement but I told him it's happening with all the laptops so a replacement wasn't going to fix this. He promptly said "OK, I'll go ahead and issue you a full refund."

I was just issued the refund today so I'll be shipping it out tomorrow after I take out my old laptop hard drives and re-install windows on this machine with the newer hard drive it came with.

It does say it may take up to 30 days once they receive it to get the refund on Dell's website.(And the support person told me this as well.)

im glad you got a "defective computer".....tech support didn't build the computer, they are just like the rest of us trying to work @ a job, and what is your claim to fame having being born into this world? your better than them why? why should you treat them with some courtesy? beacuse its the right thing to do, you being pissed and raising hell isn't going to change anything just makes you look ignorant.

lol no wonder your thing didn't work out. I speak very combly with them, I actually ended up calling back again cause the first rep I was with disconnected the 2nd rep figured out it was out of my 21 days but I spoke very combly and acted respectfully so she did her best and got me a full refund. These people are just doing their job its not like they are trying to make it harder for you on purpose, and I am indian myself so I can understand it is somewhat hard for them to get a perfect english accent but they try their best and I doubt you could get a perfect hindi accent if you tried to speak that (no offense intended towards you), but anyways try again and just be very nice and comb.

again your harping on the fact that the tech support is a different culture, but then you say its has nothing to do with that. you're still defaming the tech support people for a problem they didn't cause. the fact is that EVERY single manufacturer has issues, and id be willing to bet for every dissatisfied m17x owner you will find hundreds of happy customers. your pointless posts are further cementing your foot in ignorance. if you don't like the product, don't buy it. that's the only way you cant affect the maker of the product that failed you, berating & belittling people who have no control over the problem does nothing but put hours on their paychecks, & gives them something to do at the job the stole from you
