    Is this a good deal on an alienware laptop?

    I don't know the actual model name, but my friend is selling me an alienware laptop that he bought on black friday and I wanted to know if i was getting a good deal.

    Here are the specs:
    processor - i5 520m
    graphics - ati 5870m
    ram- 4gb
    hdd- 250gb
    os - win7ult
    screen-1920x1200 resolution
    All of this for the grand price of 1.1k.

    Looks pretty solid to me, and its only been used slightly, should i go for it?

    If that's an m17x with those specs, that's not a terrible price. If you could get him to show you the spec sheet Dell gave him when he ordered it and put that up, it might help.

    I bet its an M15x... if so you could do better calling and getting it, but its very close. If there is even a 1-year Complete Care warranty then it is worthwhile.

    M15x with 1200p screen and 5870m? ...M17x with those specs. As long as there's still warranty I'd say it's okay.
