    The 1070m seems to work with the M17x R4 w/ 120hz screen. I dont know about the 880m on the R4 but just thought it might be useful info to have :)

    It is compatible, although I would stay away from the 880M --> lots of issues.
    You can get a 680M/780M or a 970M/980M. The 1070 needs modification to the laptop and heat sink, a 1060 needs a tiny bit of modding to heat sink.

    I didn't realise 880m had a lot of issues. Maybe best to steer clear then.
    How much better actually is the 780m than the 675m? I'm trying to do an upgrade that'll make it last a couple more years - I love my M17x!

    The 675m is a re-badged 580m which is the worse of all. Even worse than the 880m.
    If you want the best go with Kepler (excluding 880m) , Maxwell or Pascal.
