I want to buy a new graphic card, but I'm not really experienced with hardware and hardware terms. According to my research the GeForce GTX 690 is the best one on the market.
If I purchased one will I be able to use it? How can I check if it's compatible?
Should I do it manually or contact Dell and pay them to do it for me?
If the GeForce GTX 690 is not compatible, then what is the best graphic card?

    Any help is appreciated.

The GTX 690 is a desktop card that will not fit in any laptop.
Removable laptop graphics cards connect to the motherboard thru a MXM connector.

The best card you can fit in your M17x R3 is a GTX 680 M. The M at the end stands for mobile.

Thank you for that. I didn't know that!
Do you know a place where I can get the card for a reasonable price? And does it matter if I purchase it from an American website and ship it to Europe? I don't see why it wouldn't be compatible, but just making sure.

Seems like they are the only one who's able to ship to my location. I took a look at the 4GB one and I want that one, haha. Thank for the help everyone.

at the moment that score is fake until proven genuine. As many veteran had discussed on the matter, theres no way such a score can be possible.

Im an innocent until proven guilty man myself.
However I am a little shocked it must be said, plus with it not submitted adds doubt too, along with the questions over the vBIOS used.
Still, more the point in relevance to this topic, it shows you can fit the top end cards in it and it is supported by the system, if you have the money that is.
Im more of a Radeon man anyway :) (I just like the principal AMD stood for when they first came around into more mainstream production)
