    Hi,

    Ordered my first alienware (m17x r4) on June 4th and the estimated delivery date is June 25th, which is Monday. The laptop has been in production since June 4th and still hasn't even shipped!

    Is it normal that these laptops stay "in production" stage for this long. It's been over 2.5 weeks! I'm concerned that even if it ships today it won't be here by Monday. I live in NS Canada and am not sure where alienware ships from.

    thoughts?

    Yes its normal. Mine arrived exactly 1 day before the EDD. It did not change to shipped until the date before that.

    When you say yours arrived 1 day before the EDD - was that over the weekend?

    Haha I can relate. I was obsessively checking the order status the entire time.

    Unfortunately FedEx does not delivery these on the weekends.

    Mine was estimated to arrive on the 25th and I got it yesterday, so 6 days early. It shipped from Texas and came up through the states and into Alberta then over to BC which took aprox 6 days including a weekend. Hopefully you get yours soon :)

    My delivery date updated on their android app before their website. It had been shipped for a day and a half before their website reflected it. This may not always be the case, it was just my experiance.
