Recommendations here are to install the ati 6970 drivers first. Then switch to integrated mode to install the intel video driver.
I am using win 7 ultimate x64 and doing a clean install. I successfully installed the amd driver first (R291070). Then rebooted. Then switched to integrated (fn+f7 or through "configure switchable graphics"). The intel hd3000 package will not install for me (R299285). It says the driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Am I using the wrong one? Can someone point me in the right direction?

From what I have read the AMD drivers include the intel ones, so you don't actually have to install the independent drivers if all you want to do is switch the graphics. Unfortunately it seems that the drivers included with AMD don't support the WiDi 2.0 stuff because I haven't been able to get it to work. There doesn't seem to be a way to get the updated drivers to install.

Help me please. -

AMD drivers from Dell include Intel drivers. They worked together to bring you switchable graphics.

if you want slightly newer drivers, install the M18x amd drivers...they work perfect and are newer than the ones for the m17x r3
