I think it's time to place my order for the M17x R4. Has anyone considered doing a screen swap with the R2 to the R4? Is it possible?

I <3 my RGB LED.. but I can live without it.

    Time to sell my R2!

:p ok ok, tonight I'll open it presuming the wife doesn't need anything. Has been far from an easy pregnacy, but sooo worth it. Tonight I'll check and post pics of the two systems side by side comparing the RBG to the R4 screen. Just wishing I had more cash to drop some SSDs in the system. May take my m11x 256GB old Dell SSD and put it in. Gotta make an image of the M11x HDD first though. Not that I have much on it.

    R2- 17.1" 1920x1200
    R4- 17.3" 1920x1080

Also I'm not sure the LVDS cable would be compatible, maybe you could be a guinea pig for us. :D
