    Got this for $1260, thoughts?

    -i5 520m
    -5870m
    -1920x1200
    -4GB
    -250GB HDD
    -Nebula Red
    -Win 7 Ultimate

Also is there anything I should know about this laptop, as in good programs to install, important drivers, etc. I would also like opinions on alienware in general, most people tend to hate it o_o

Did you use the 20% off coupon discount? I picked up a couple of the same config (except 500GB HDD/black and 320GB HDD/red) for $1090...couldn't pass up that deal! Now, gotta find some decent, cheap CPU upgrades!

What's the magic to pick these systems up? I have been trying all weekend at different times to pick up a dual 5870 system with RGB screen and no luck. Any recommendations from the outlet experts :)

FWIW, I check often too, and even though it's a holiday weekend, there have been a few new additions to the outlet over the weekend. Alas, I have not seen any CF 5870 configs though. Even some higher end systems showed up for a brief time (920XM based) but quickly disappeared. Not sure they were actually purchased, since their price was no steal.

Basically, you just have to be persistent and check often. The 20% coupon is good through this week, so once Dell goes back to work tomorrow, chances are something will show up in the next few days!

    Good luck!

I'm in look of a new laptop and been checking out the alienware m17x...i'm wondering is it worth it to get a refurbed one, or getting a brand new one.

also what site guys talking about that has these that pop every so often and you can get discount coupons?
