Hi,
Would like to know more about the keyboard flex that happens when you press the middle part of the keyboard.
Does the keyboard flex still exist with the latest M17x?
Is it a design flaw or is it designed purposely for easy typing, etc?
What do you think about it? Is it annoying? Erm, for me, i have never seen a keyboard flex before and thinking about it happening to my laptop/keyboard kinda sucks? And furthermore it's a top range laptop?! hm.., unless there's a reason for it.
Thanks,
AdmonFrey

There's virtually no keyboard flex on the last gen systems.
Even if you press very hard, you should only see some very minimal bending. -
At first, watching this video (2:37), I did think it was a quite deep bend. After reading your reply I realize it is only a minimal bend. -
I don't have any noticeable flex on my keyboard. I just checked the entire thing before replying.

cant find any in mine either

I barely notice mine.

I read that this was an issue before ordering my son's M17x-R2, so it was a point I looked at closely when it arrived.
But I am pleased to say there is no problem with it at all. -

Depends on what you describe flex as....ive just looked at mine, light typing is fine but if i press "L" quite firmly, all the surrounding keys move down aswell.....
