    m17xr1-2 have one, then the r3-4 have another, the new 17 is different.

    M17xR3/R4 and M18xR1/R2 all use the same exact keyboard... totally interchangeable among all four machines. There are some minor cosmetic differences between keyboards for different countries and the W8 keyboard has a minor change in appearance but they all fit.
