I've had this issue for a while now, the keyboard lights change colors (blink in pink/yellow) for few seconds and it happens often. The colors should be stable......I never had this issue before, It started happening few months ago after the command center upgrade.

I did uninstall the Alienware Command center and that did not fix this :/.
Not sure what else I can do.

i have a similar issue. the caps lock/num lock light panel section pulses bright to dim no matter what color it is. i had to replace the control panel for another issue and this problem started shortly after the replacement. it is annoying, but not annoying enough to pull things apart and reseat cables.

When you upgrade the control centre, doesn't it also flash the controller card on the board?
    Correct me if i'm wrong.

^^yes it does that's why it's not recomended to go back to a previous version.

Enter Alien FX probably you have a theme that morphs those two colors. Also if you took your system apart the cables might need reseating.

As for this most of the times is the LCD cable that is not seated correctly.Might want to dissmantle your system again(only touchstrip and keyboard) and reseat the cable correctly,it happened to me and i had to remove all power source and the CMOS battery also press the power button for a while(~20 sec) to drain the "juice".
