This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    "Keypad Controller" window always in Alt-Tab list

    A blank window with a generic icon, entitled "Keypad Controller" keeps appearing in the list when I press alt-tab. It gets in between my current app and the one I'm trying to switch to and that is annoying. Does anyone know anything about this?

    I am on Windows 8.1 - Alienware 17r-the-2013-model.

    I also have an alienware 17r and i get the same thing. Not always, but sometimes.
