I have a 17 R3 and the Wifi card completely stops working after a few minutes after booting the laptop up. It does not lose my network, it loses all networks within range. It loses all wifi capabilities the card shuts down. I go to device manager and there is a yellow Explanation point which says window shut the card down due to a code 43? I have uninstalled the driver, installed it then updated it to 12.0.0.825. Still happening. Need help please can not stay on the laptop more than a few minuted before this happpens. Only way to reconnect is to either reboot or disable the wifi card and enable it again from device manager.

Either re-seat the card, or replace it, because it sounds like its faulty.
