Laptop froze. Could use some help.

Was on WoW when it happened. Caps lock still working though, but everything else freezes. Can't even bring up the task manager. Then I had to force shutdown by holding the power button.

When it booted back up, one of the SATA hard drives' status reads Error Occured in red, while the other one reads Bootable in green.

Is my hard drive failing? Previously, I had a BSOD which resulted in a consistency check during restart.

Will reformatting and disabling the RAID array help? If so, how should one disable the RAID setup? Before or after reformatting?

I assume you are in RAID 0? You change RAID before Windows installation.
