As the title states, my laptop seems to be throttling heavily when reaching 69 degrees on the CPU. While stresstesting it seems to stay between 80-90, even tough that's pretty hot, the cpu itself should throttle at 77 degrees, as I have been told.

This usually happens when I'm playing the MMO TERA online. I have checked the temperature with core temp, and it's safe to assume that the fps drop is a reaction to reaching 69, cause after it hits that temp, the temp starts dissipating rapidly till about 50.

Edit: It even throttles at 63 degrees, so it's really random, don't think it can be cause it's overheating, cause that's just very low.

    Speccs,

    GFX 560M
    4GB Ram
    i7 2760 QM

If anybody could help, would be appreciated.

Are you sure its using your 560m and not the IGP when playing? Are you playing on battery?

What's your GPU temp when you are getting that problem?
