On my R3 I just recently upgraded to the latest drivers to play Guild Wars 2 as it was complaining about older drivers being installed. I installed the update and a few days later I noticed that stereoscopic 3D was missing completely from the NVIDIA control panel. Is this an error or is NVIDIA once again screwing over the 3D community by removing it from newer driver revisions because the manufacturers haven't "paid" to the newer driver support..?

I doubt that would be the case. I can no longer verify as I do not have a R3 anymore but I reckon that perhaps something is wrong software wise (driver reinstallation) or hardware wise (broken 3D cable or something).

3D is working on my system with the new BETA drivers. I would try re-installing the drivers with the clean install option.

I had this happen a couple of times with my R3. What I noticed is that if I did not see the small file-copy window pop up during the driver install of the 3D components there was no 3D option in the NV control panel. A clean reinstall fixed. If I remember right the last time I rolled back to an earlier driver then reinstalled the new one.

Same thing on the R4...Tried latest beta drivers. Maybe I need to change the way I'm modifying the drivers?
