Is this a common issue for this? This is the 2nd time now, and it's rattling worse than the first time. Also anytime I wake from sleep, the sound either cuts out or it sounds like it changes. It sounds like there is too much treble, and the bass is gone. I have to restart a few times to get it to work. I know it's an issue with the drivers, but I disconnected battery and power adapter and it automatically started reinstalling "AUDIO DRIVER" or something to that extent. Not sure what's going on here but it's flipping out. My warranty is expired by 30 days.

So you have 2 issues:
Rattling and disappearing?
The rattling never goes away and the disappear goes away by rebooting. Is that right? -
Yes.. The rattling on left speaker on certain songs and movies that are semi high pitched. My sound disappears after rebooting, however it is not bad now. However the speakers don't sound as "FULL" after all of this. It sounds like there is some bass missing, on top of it being too high in treble. My warranty expired a little over 30 days ago, so I can't fix this I don't think now. However the repair man that came (30 days ago) messed up my computer. I have emailed alienware support twice, I have gotten no reply;
The bottom cover that slides out he broke a piece on the middle latch near the power adapter end below the screen, now it is lifted up.
Also the top where my controls next to the power button, you can press down and it won't fully go down. It didn't seem like he put it back together very well as it is making creaking noises now. -

Got it! It does seem like it will require a motherboard/speakers replacement. About the tech, I would have to apologize for that. Perhaps you could contact your local support team and tell them how he left it.
